Should SolarwindsSFTPServer.exe be using 900mb of RAM?

Hello

On our Soarwinds server, a process called SolarwindsSFTPServer.exe is using over 900mb of RAM on its own.

I have checked the SFTP program and nothing is being transferred and hasn't been for a while yet the process permanently used this amount of memory.

Is this normal?

It is probably not helpful to post this on a discussion that is 8-9 years old, but this still seems like an issue. I'll see if there is better place to post it. If not then at least it is here.

Have you reported the problem to support? Engineering team may now.

BTW, are you using the newest version of the SFTP/SCP server?

Not to bring back a dead post, but the same process was eating 1.3 Gig of RAM. I restarted the SFTP/SCP Server service and it dropped to only 7 Meg. It is steadily climbing a few kilobytes at a time though. Memory leak in the process or service maybe?
