Aruba Wireless Controller Config Download

I've just added our first Aruba controller to NCM and it adds OK but when I try and do a config download it just fails immediately saying that its not a Cisco device, how can I get the config download to work I've had a look in the device command template and the template has details for downloading the config.

I've never had this error before with non Cisco based devices.

Any help would be much appreciated.

What version of NCM are you running?

I have this problem as well. I'm running NCM 6.1 and AOS 5.0.3.0. The error I get is no response using specified credentials. Transfer protocol is snmp/tftp.

Well that's definitely part of your problem. SNMP is only supported for Cisco equipment. Change your connection method and transfer protocol to telnet or SSH and that should resolve your issue.

Thanks. I get the same error with pix and asa devices. Is snmp supported on these?
