Cisco Inventory Report

Question

I have been asked to produce a detailed inventory report in the next day or two. We are replacing our entire infrastructure and rolling out Cisco VoIP. The report only needs to be concerned with Cisco devices. Thing I need on the reports: Device name, model number, serial number, any cards in the chassis and their name and serial numbers, code version would be useful too.  I would like the report to be sent out in a spreadsheet form if possible. I am playing with some reports now, but it doesn't seem like I can get all this info in one report.

I am also finding that the reports take forever to run. Running an inventory scan on 8 nodes is taking 30+ mins and it is only 67% through. Is this normal? i am running on an HP Blade server with 4GB of RAM, dual core 2.1Ghz with only 117 nodes. SQL DB is on another server.

Ok I got that part done, but I can get the Physical Entities options to show up n the Filter Results tab so I can filter out anything that does not have a serial number. I only see Node Details, Discovered Properties, Login Information and Communication.

Under the Select fields tab, choose Cisco Chassis Information in the first dropdown. Then, below where you can select fields, a new subsection Cisco Chassis that will have chassis ID/ SN fields. All the previous fields should be available as well, but you'll have to select them all again.

I tired filtering but I can't find the Serial Number field in the Discovered Properties  section.
