I have several 4500's with SUP6-E's and while NCM pulls the installed blades/cards for all other chassis switches it does not seem that this is true for the 4500.
Anyone have any insight into that?
Can you please open a support ticket on this? It may be that the 4500 uses a different MIB for storing blade/card info.
Opening one now.
Mine seems to be working. What are you using to look at this? I just ran the report in NCM and it pulled the cards.
I was just in NCM itself.
Try running the Cisco Card Data report and see what you get. You might want to just try it on one device. Running it on all Cisco devices could take a little longer.
I don't see any 4500's in the report at all no matter how I run it.
Strange, here is what a snippet of mine looks like;
Donald, can you pull any other inventory reports from that 4500?
Yes I get other data jus not the cards. In fact if I run a card report they do not show at all.
Just as a follow up, the SUP6-E DOES NOT support the Cisco Cards MIB. The SUP6L-E DOES support it.
In either case the same info can be gotten using "physical entities"
