Schedule Purges?

Hi

Is it possible to schedule config purges in Cirrus or anyway of cleaning up the cinfig database? I am aware how it can be done manually but we are looking for an automated action to be sceduled. Or even is it possivle to put an expiry date on configs. The reason for asking is that after a period of time the list will become crowded and unpleasant to view and use.

We have tried exporting which just copies the files to and archive folder but doesn't removed the copied files from the database. I may be looking in the wrong area but any form of automated file management would be helpful. I'm sure there is one but if there isn't I will raise it as a feature request with SW.

Also if you purge the configs manuallly by date it will remove even the Baselines, is there anyway of preventing this?

Yeah that's a good Idea thanks I think we will start only saving the file that have changed.

Don't worry about the baselines there was a few crossed wires here on this end, it doesn't affect us how we manage our policy configs for the moment.

A scheduled purge job is not currently possible, but this is a great idea for enhancement (for internal folks this is #1489).    One option you might consider to reduce clutter is to check the option to only save configs that have changed.

Wrt/ baseline configurations, can you describe how you using these today in your environment?
