Nodes keep coming up and down

Question

Hi all,

I am having problems because solarwinds keep sending alarmas of nodes that pass to "Down" State and then they come "Up" after 1 minute. IT sends an email of recovery too.

In the last 10 minutes I´ve had 150 mails. IT happens once every day in different hours since some weeks ago. I am becoming mad and have no idea of why it is happening.

Can this be because it is at a 96% of memory use? I am planning to increise its memory, would this problem end?

I would be very glad if someone could give me any ideas.

Dear Andy,

Thank you very much for your fast support. We´ve been investigating the problem for some days and we´ve finaly found out it is a line problem. The line coneccting the client was bussy because of internet downloads of some of their employees...

Hi Pablo,

Is this an NCM problem or NPM - sounds more like NPM. If so, the first thing I would do is change the advanced alert so that it waits a couple of minutes before triggering. That will help stabalize things. Can you tell me more about the servers you are using? (Orion/SQL)
