Trying to get Cirrus to login via telnet to some Cabletron switches. Problem is that when you telnet to these devices they don't ask you for your username, just your password. Thus causing a Login failure: bad password with Cirrus. Any ideas? Thanks
No username is required for Cirrus to login to the device. You simply leave the username field blank and Cirrus will not try to pass a username. A session trace would be quite useful in troubleshooting the issue. I recommend creating a ticket at https://forms.netsuite.com/app/site/crm/externalcasepage.nl?compid=638609&formid=12&h=3d0552f20b2e9bd6580b and including a Session Trace. You can view the location of the Session Trace under File > Settings > Advanced > Session Tracing.
