There is an annoying "feature" that I've noticed with the Cirrus "Config Change Report" and the HP Procuve 7102 wan routers: false positives due to date/time entries.
Details:
Every day my Cirrus software connects to my routers/switches and runs a backup of the configuration. I then run a "Config Change Report" against my WAN routers to see if any changes were made (as these are my most important devices).
The HP 7102 routers have a little feature of showing the Date/Time every time you issue a SHOW RUN command. This line of the running config will always be different. When the change report is run - Cirrus flags all of my 7102 routers as having different configurations because of this date/time entry. This line is flagged with the exclamation field (thus rendered inert or a comment). I would like to see a feature that would allow Cirrus to skip this entry or ignore this entry when the comparison is run. (See the attached screen shot for the config report)
