remediate rule violations

Question

This is my first week with NCM, so I may have just missed something dumb. When I run a policy report, then right click and select remediate rule violation, all I get for the script is sh version. Does NCM create the script needed to remediate the violation, or is it a roll your own kind of thing? It would not be hard to just put in the commands myself, I just want to make sure that I have the correct functionality.

That makes sense. It could be a bit dangerous to have the script generated automatically, it might be better to provide an example or a description of the issue instead of actual code to execute. Thanks for the response.

Currently, you would need to enter your own remediation scripts.  We're exploring the addition of auto-remediation in future versions.
