How to associate circuit ID with interface?

Question

I am using Cirrus to manage Cisco Routers and would like to be able to identify circuit numbers for my WAN links. Is there a way to do that other than using the description (alias) on the interface? It would be nice to be able to pull up the interface inventory and have a field to insert a circuit ID associated with that interface.

I have a question, once I have created my custom properties, how do I get it to report this custom property in my e-mail alerts.  ie. im trying to get the circuit ID of my serial interfaces to be sent along with the ip info and note status.  I have the IP and note status already being sent in the e-mails but now that I have built this custom property how can I get that in the e-mails also??

Thanks for the reply. I looked at using custom properties, but it looked like it only applied to the node. I could not create a custom property for each interface. Does anybody know if there is a way to create a custom property that applies to an interface?

Cirrus 4 allows you to create custom properties also. Try that.
