NCM Custom - All Nodes - Group By

Question

I've seen alot of threads discussing custom grouping, but haven't been able to find one specifically for this yet. On the Home screen of the NCM website, I would like to group my devices by a customer group such as "Node Group", "Location" or "Building". The only options are pre-defined groups. I know there is an option for "SysLocation", but I don't want to use that. I really don't like having a huge list of devices there and grouping by Vendor isn't really helpful for our company. Any feedback is appreciated.

I've created several "Custom Properties" in the Orion NCM Manager console. These properties show up when I'm viewing the individual device details within the Console. However, they are NOT an option to group by in the All Nodes view or even in the device details on the website.

In the first version of the website, we did not enable the ability to group by Node Properties or custom properties due to possible performance concerns with expanding macros in these fields.   However, we believe we have a workaround and plan to add this in 5.1.
