I need help in Set up a device to export NetFlow data to SolarWinds NTA

Hi Community

Im new in the community so, need your help because i dont know configuration the NetFlow, in specific Set up a device to export NetFlow data to SolarWinds NTA in the tool web Orion Solarwinds. And researched in the tutorials from web official SolarWinds but nothing, i can't  obtain correct information.

Alone the next template o achieve communication with the HP switch:

attach the MIB to the necessary for configuration.

I had a chance to do a bit of research, and I think the actual problem is the template you are using is not for the model of switch you have.  For a 25xx switch you should be using sflow commands instead of the setmib commands.

Here’s an article from PRTG on setting up sFlow on a 25xx, which will also apply to NTA.

Good morning –

I’m sure you converted the address correctly, but since it is critical let’s verify anyway.  Your SolarWinds system’s IP is 120.120.12.189?

The receiver port on your SolarWinds server is set to 6343?  The other thing to remember with the data stream is that it is UDP.  If there are any firewalls or routers with ACLs you may have to set them to allow UDP/6343.

Do you have the ability to get a packet capture taken on the sender switch?  That will tell you if the switch is actually sending sFlow data.

“setmib 1.3.6.1.4.1.14706.1.1.6.1.4.11.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1.53.1 -i 8” sets the polling interval to 8 minutes

“setmib 1.3.6.1.4.1.14706.1.1.6.1.3.11.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1.53.1 -i 1” enables polling
