NTA 4.1 - VMWare intaregation

Question

I wonder could anyone form SolarWinds comment on my observations below:

So it seems NTA does not play nice with version 5.1 ESXi dvSwitches.

1. Since these switches don't support SNMP, it cannot auto discover the ports therein meaning you have to manually add each one. Very nice when you have thousands 
! 
2. NTA offers no support for flows with IPv6 Data 
3. NTA only supports TCP and UDP flows. other transport layer protocols will not be captured (e.g. ICMP)!

Would be nice to see 1 and 3 addressed in the near future. Particularly 1 as with the proliferation of virtualisation having adding thousands of virtual ports manually is not a runner.

I agree, I think with some of the other enhancements, being able to view NTA and other information about the performance of the virtual networks in VMware would be beneficial. NTA needs to be less worried about each individual virtual port and more linked to the node connected to the port.
