IP to Country mapping

Question

Anyone managed/tried to change the mapping of IPs to countries?

I found the config file: IP2Contry.cfg in \SolarWinds\Orioni\NetflowTrafficAnalysis\ folder and tried to change a few values, but it had no effect. I restarted both the netperfmon and netflow service after doing the change.

I just had a ticket opened for this and got some great help even though this is not supported.

I did the following:
1 - Edited the IP2Country.cfg file
2 - Restarted the Netflow service
3 - Did a truncate of the Netflow Correlation table in the DB

You will need to update the values in the FlowCorrelation table to cause these changes to take effect.
