Hi Everyone,
Is there anyone experience it by adjusting the the absolute time period the netflow conversation instead giving a different time?
I've reviewed your attached graphic, and I've read your question, but am still having a little trouble understanding exactly what your question means. It's as if a few words may be missing in the question, and I'm having difficulty understanding it.
Would you please elaborate on the issue? More details about what you expect, how you are arriving at the undesired outcome, and exactly what is unexpected or undesired--these may help clarify the issue so we can more quickly and accurately answer you.
Thank you for your email. I'm trying to get a report from NTA and here's my observation
on the Netflow screen I set the time Period in Absolute setting from 5/6/2018@12:am to 6/16/2018 11:45PM. On the Netflow conversation summary it is set to automatically from 5/5/2018@5:pm to 6/16/2018 11:45PM. - I need the time stamp report accurately.
On the other attachment as you can see on the attachment NTA-timestamp2,3,4 , the timestamp were different, there are some at 5:00pm the others are in 5:00am.
My expectation is to get all the timestamp the same after set it up on the absolute time value.
That was a helpful explanation--thank you.
While I have no resolution to the issue, I DO appreciate better understanding what you expect versus what you're receiving.
If you do NOT select Absolute, and then run the query, do you see results that are consistent with your expectations?
Have you opened a Support case with Solarwinds on this yet? I suspect you may have identified a bug.
I tested the process by NOT using Absolute time; the results matched my expectations.
It's possible you have an issue that is dependent on your version of NTA; what version is your NTA using?
I open a case. I can see that as long as you set the time stamp in the absolute value within the last 1 week, it is accurate. The issue appears if you set the absolute time value after more than a week. The Timestamp are off. You may try in your convenient time this NTA behavior.
Thanks for your attention.
