We use HP 5500, 5120, 5130 and 5800. All are comware and they support sflow. I found some doc on how to configure sflow but NTA doesn't collect any info. Has anybody used NTA to collect flow info from comware switches?
You may want to check with your vendor or knowledgebase for the specific commands on setting up the HP switches, but for NTA to process the sFlow it needs to be sent via port 2055 by default and include minimum fields or it will be ignored:
Required fields - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support
You can capture some data via Wireshark to confirm it's coming from the device you expect on port 2055 and then review the packets to make sure it has the required fields:
Breaking down sFlow packet in Wireshark - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support
NTA shows "Never" in Netflow Sources - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support
Otherwise I would suggest reaching out to Support directly to see if there may be another cause to the issue.
Thanks for the Help. The port was the issue. I am collecting sflow data now.
