EVAL of NTA 3.5 not off to good start

Cant seem to get the installer to finish..has error that NTA database is not an Orion NTA 3.1 database..you must install 3.1 before installing 3.5 upgrade.....

What do I need to do to get this eval running?

Hi Bryan,

This happens when 3.5 is installed on a machine or database that had pre 3.1 NTA installed in the past. Support can fix this quickly with a ticket.

Thanks Andy...I will work with support on this. I had done an eval of NTA a while back and that must be causing the issue.

Also, just FYI, we're working on making sure that the "ghosts of evals past" issue is resolved in future Orion releases.

Solarwinds Support is pathatic.

I have tried many times but no clear solution is there. Why NTA 3.5 and now 3.7 is requiring NTA 3.1?.

If it is mendatory requirement, Why NTA 3.1 is not included in 3.5 and now in 3.7 installation packages?.

Why there is not any clear solution from solarwinds on all thwack website?. I am searching it for long time.

This is the difference in some professional Network Monitoring solution and just a software for monitoring puposes. I am going to remove NPM this year for NMS purposes.
