Did any get Cattools 3.11 working with SonicWALL backups?

I have handful of SonicWALLs in field I need to do scheduled backup. However from what I can tell, the Cattools 3.11 still can not backup SonicWALL properly. Versions of the running SonicOS are 5.9 and newer.

Maybe it was my configuration issue...Here below are some screenshots.

Other tabs are defaults and I did not use Variants if that matters.

Try setting up your device like this(with the disable paging option):

Can you clean up a debug log, and post it here? Use the CatTools File menu to select the "Enable capture mode" option. Run the Sonicwall activity that you are having trouble with. This should create a debug file in the \CatTools3\Debug folder.

We are sending a "show all" command. Is this the correct command to display the configuration?

I am not sure. I never use CLI on SonicWALL...

Try connection to the Sonicwall with putty. Run the "show all" command, and see if you get an error. If so, try show ?, and let me know what you get back.

The closet one I can see is "show current-config" but there is no "show all" command. Even I use variant to do "show current-config" still not working...

Please try the following:

1. Edit your Sonic wall device

2. Go to the Variations tab, and click Use Variations

3. Go to the Additional Commands tab, and check the Show Running Config box

4. In the box type show current-config

Did exactly that but no luck. It complains about no response received for the command.

Here is the debug. First one does include "--MORE--" as the paging option in Variations and second one does not. Made no difference.

Thanks. That works however with some 5.9.x SonicWALL, I also have to configure password like below. For newer version, only SSH username/password will be enough.

The work back up works with the settings but it's a .txt file instead of .exp. Any idea?
