Kiwi Cat Tool & backup of ASA

Hello Friends,

I am working for backup my cisco and fortinet devices with kiwi cat tools, routers and switches are ok but cisco ASA is giving issue with error "Enable mode failed"

anyone can help how to fix this..

Does the backup complete even though you see this error?

I ran into the same thing. What you have to do is put your normal username and password in the field, then in the enable password field put the same password from your username. Similar to the below.

Ok. What error are you getting? Make sure for the model on the Device info tab you have ASA5520, Direct Connect, SSH2, port 22. Device type is Cisco.Firewall.ASA. Vendor is Cisco. Also does the workstation or Server that you have CatTools installed allowed to SSH to the Firewall?

I would imagine it is the same way. I do not have the Fortinet Firewall, so I am not really sure. Have you called Tech support for SolarWinds to check with them? I did find a post that may help you. Someone else was running into the same problem. See if the below helps.
