I am looking for the oid for "Memory\Free System Page Table Entries", it does not it look like it is listed. Any ideas on the OID?
Thanks,
Eric
Hi Eric,
There is no specific OID that you can use to monitor the memory as the OID is partly built by a unique identifier. Typically you would want to walk down one of the following OIDs:
-1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.4 This is a branch from the Net-SNMP MIB, typically used for UNIX and MAC (http://support.ipmonitor.com/mibs_byoidtree.aspx?oid=1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.4)
-1.3.6.1.4.1.9600.1.1.2 This is a branch from the SNMP Informant MIB, which is installed as an add-on on Windows systems. (http://support.ipmonitor.com/mibs_byoidtree.aspx?oid=1.3.6.1.4.1.9600.1.1.2)
-1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2 This is a branch from the HOSTS MIB included and supported by most SNMP agents.(http://support.ipmonitor.com/mibs_byoidtree.aspx?oid=1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2)
My personal suggestion would be to simply point the Memory Monitor to the system(s) in question and it should find what you are looking for. More on this Monitor is found here:

Let me know if this helps or not.

The monitor I am looking for is a specific monitor in perfmon. If you go under the "Memory" performance object and select the "Free System Page Table Entries" counter, you can find that monitor. Is it possible to get the OID for this specific counter in perfmon or is that not how it works?
This specific data cannot be gathered over SNMP, however, it can be done using WMI. I have written a script that you could trigger using the External Process Monitor within ipMonitor, however, I will need you to submit a case in order to allow me to email it to you. Simply use the following form:

P.S. This solution will only work against Windows systems.
Thank you
Chris,
I am not able to get any values from my server when using the informant-std.mib. I am new to snmp. Can you tell me what I must do to get Available Memory information from a server using ipmonitor 9?
