Turn IPAM scans on and off via script

Hello everyone. This is my first post. I am still a newbie with Orion. Due to issues with ARP storms taking down user switches, I have been asked to run IPAM scans only during the weekend, turn on Friday at 9PM, run all weekend, turn off at 6AM Monday. I know this can be done in the interface but looking for a way to automate via script, to reduce operator burden. I would prefer PowerShell but am open to any options.

Has anyone accomplished this? If so can you share your experience?

Run this query on the database.

UPDATE IPAM_Group SET DisableAutoScanning = 1 where DisableAutoScanning != 1 and ParentID = 8

This will disable automatic subnet scanning for all subnet that you have.

You can also go to Settings >> All Settings >> IPAM Settings >> Manage Scan job status and disable ICMP and SNMP scanning from there.
