IPAM suggested improvements/additions

Question

- Verification if network already in use, was able to create the same subnet twice

- Add additional columns to the 'Display name, Description' box, would like to add Location.  Would also be nice if they size (length) of the column can be customized

- Search groups (listed below display name), these groups are automatically created based on group membership or information listed (e.g. location, hostname, etc...) having this with a Boolean search option would be a great addition.

- Ability to add multiple groups at the 'root' instead of one, handy when adminstrating multiple companies

- Some way of integrating DHCP server/scope control

Thanks otherwise for a great 'simple' IP address management tool.

We use a Microsoft DHCP server.  Yes, just overall scope usage and lease times.  I would be nice to have an indicator for DHCP scopes in the list with reserved and available.  Read-only credentials wouldn't be an issue.

#5 - which DHCP vendor do you use?  Would you be interested in seeing scopes and it's usage mainly?  We would require credentials to get into DHCP device

Thanks for the response, and adding me to the posts you mentioned.  In regards to the other ones, see below.

2. I prefer to quickly browse my 'network' tree in the left pane, therefore it would be really helpful to have the location column on the left (or the ability to customize this).

5. Not sure what would be doable, more than likely this requires hooks into AD or into whatever DHCP project you are using.
