Is there a way to monitor SQL Cluster node changeover

hi there:

We have sql instanc which is in a windows cluster env.  Occasional,  sql instance will get failed over from node A to node B. Is there way in DPA to fire an alert if this situation occurs?

Are you using SQL Server AlwaysOn availability groups?  Or what kind of technique are you using when talking about "sql instanc which is in a windows cluster env"?  FCI?

If you are using AlwaysOn availability groups then you can also use one of the existing administrative alerts:
