Is DPAL included with SAM?

Hello my fellow thwack members,

My company has been running NPM, NCM, NTA, and UDT for the past several years. Recently we purchased licencing for SAM and I noticed "DPAIM" under licence details...

I'm now wondering if the DPAIM module's licencing falls under SAM or something?

Does the DPAIM module get installed by default when installing SAM?

I currently use SAM to monitor my Solarwinds SQL Server, doesn't that use Database Performance Analyzer ?

Any help understanding the difference in licensing for DPAIM and SAM would be much appreciated.

I've attached screenshots of the SAM and DPAIM modules.

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for the question.  DPAIM (DPA Integration Module) is bundled with SAM to make it easy to integrate with DPA (one less install on your Orion server).  By itself, it doesn't do anything.
