Have the ability to call scripts before and after patching tasks, to allow certain services to be put into maintenance mode, failed over, etc.
This is the ability to call tasks, which have been created already in the GUI, from external sources. For example, if scripts are used to create new VMs, an API call could be used to do an Update Management Wizard task on that computer group.
Hi Guys, I'm new to Patch Manager and looking to see if it has API's that can be utilised (eg: To use orchestration software to create a patching service request in a CRM utility, kick off a scheduled task in Patch Manager and on completion, update the service request as completed.)
