When testing a new alert it is nice to not clutter up the Active Alerts. Also it is nice to reserve the Active Alerts for things that deserve a certain level of attention.
How to suppress the alert when the duplicate interface occurs For example : Switch A port g0/1 to Switch B port g1/1 a line is connected as trunk. If switch A port g0/1 is down then am getting two alert for both switch and ports. How can i avoid one alert in this case????
It would be nice to be able to disable the alerting system, temporarily, without actually modifying any of the alerts, actions, or nodes.
