Can we do the following SolarWinds NCM for the given security products: SECURITY PRODUCTS: * IBM IPS * Imperva Web Application Firewall * Symantec Proxy * Symantec SSL Visibility Appliance * Checkpoint Firewall * Fortinet Fortigate Firewall * Cisco ASA * Cisco Firepower NCM features desired for all of the above: * Config…
It would be great if we could have NCM Widgets in the EOC like: - Backed-up Devices vs Not Backed-up - Startup vs. Running Config Conflicts - .... They should represent the Status of all Sites combined. A site-specific widget would be great as well but we could live with this by logging in to the site directly.
Hello, Hopefully someone will be able to help me with an issue I am having. I am trying to ignore a certain line of config from my config comparison but I have been unsuccessful so far. I am trying to exclude this line. I have tired these as RegEx patterns but they do not work ^authentication mode hmac-sha-256*…
Looking to see if anyone else is having this issue, and whether anyone's solved it. On my Nexus 7K's I have inbound and outbound ACL's defined and applied to multiple SVI (ignore the confusing naming standard). They consistently appear in a different order in the running config vs the startup config: Running: interface…
When attempting to view conflicts between running and startup configs when viewing conflicts take us directly to the node configs page instead of the node page. Needs to be a smoother flow from those two tools.
When scrolling down long configs, it's easy to lose track of which switch is on which pane. If you held the node names at the top of the screen when scrolling down, it would make it easier to see at a glance which switch is on which side.
When I attempt to view the config saved by my NCM backups it doesn't read normally. It's saved as only letters and numbers. Is it hex or something? Is there any way to view it normally?
I have created a weekly job for Avaya Switches that download running and startup configs. There is one NCM Profile with the same credentials that all devices use and use SSH protocol to get the configs. After the job ran, some of devices show this error: connection refused by x.x.x.x and some devices only downloaded…
I am noticing on a few of my daily config comparisons that they have a bunch of entries showing changes but no changes are being made. Has anybody seen this before? I have attached my Comparison Criteria and maybe I have them set incorrectly. Any help would be appreciated.
Output of the config-compare (start against running) will generate tekst. Some differences will do a lot of lines. Create a summery at the top which devices are involved
