Hi, I am monitoring servers running Ubuntu systems using SNMPv3 with AVAGO 3108 MegaRAID cards in them, The systems are not running the Agent, their hardware management is also not accessible. They are not Out of the Box supported hardware for monitoring purposes (Cisco UCS C series in stand-alone mode and SuperMicro…
I'd say all things considered, but cost can be a huge factor in determining how much one is willing to give up in terms of storage space, with respect to gains in either performance or redundancy. For example For a nice balance between sheer performance on the one hand, and high availability and failover on the other, I…
Hi guys, Hoping someone might have a suggestion or solution to this problem! We have 8 Hyper-V hosts servers (DELL PowerEdge) within a cluster, that host our critical VMs/Apps. Originally I monitored these servers in SAM using WMI polling and that worked fine. But we also needed to monitor the local RAID disks on these…

Hi Does anyone know definitive answer for what RAID configuration is support by SW for LEM? Most clients will tend to have their SAN configured in RAID 5 or sometimes RAID 50, which we know is not suited to databases. In this instance a RAID 10 (1+0) is recommended for performance. Is this what we should be using for LEM?…
