The installation guide says that Windows 2012 is supported. But its unclear if Windows 2012 R2 is officially supported. Also, the release notes do not say anything about adding support for Windows 2012 or R2. I'm looking to migrate an existing ipMonitor away from Windows 2003 and onto the latest supported version. Should I…
I see posts about SAM6 being supported on Server 2012 R2. What about NTA, NPM? Thanks!
I have installed the SFTP/SCP server in Windows 2012 R2 server and it works for a while and all of a sudden it stops working until i reboot the server. Restarting of the SolarWinds service doesn't help nor reinstall of it. Whenever i restart the solarwinds service the port 22 stops listening until i reboot the server.....…

This is shown to the end users by a ~3 second delay in moving between folders from a Windows 7 client. Following a reboot; everything returns to normal. Is there a way of monitoring file and folder access and…
In reviewing this blog post, NCM 7.2.2 is supported on Windows 2012 Server but not Windows 2012 R2 Server. Has anyone tried running 7.2.2 on 2012 R2 Server? Have you run into any issues? Our Systems team has directed us to move all our 2003 servers to 2012 R2.
anyone running into this issue... snmp seems to hang on windows 2012 and R2 boxes. Service is up but no responses. bounce/reboot service and starts responding to queries. I have packet captures showing this behavior. Can't find much on this on internet, though out there for 2008 versions.

The rest of the checks such as "Packet Received/sec" are reporting an error. Access denied, authorization failed. HResult: Unable to access the desired computer or service. and Unexpected error…
Hi, We've just deployed 2 Windows 2012 R2 servers and added them to NPM and it's showing Windows NT Server on the Node Details -> Machine Type. Also on the Asset Inventory it shows Windows Build 6.3. Is this something that has been resolved in 10.6.1 or will be resolved in 10.7? Many thanks Jason
