This is a topic for which their are some old posts but I did not find anything recent. A lot of what was being requested in those older posts, with regard to searching, seems to be fixed. I would like to concentrate here on a specific search feature that is still needed. We have several supernets in IPAM and most only have…
Hi Team, I have noticed that IPAM lack features in calculating supernet utilization. Let's say I have following tree: Supernet 192.168.1.0 / 23 -- Subnet 192.168.1.0 / 30 And I will put all individual IP addresses in subnet 192.168.1.0 / 30 as Used. Subnet is shown as 100% used, which is correct. However IPAM will…
Imported subnets should automatically populate under the supernet that they would belong to based on thier CIDR. So its awesome that all my subnets are in IPAM from my route tables.... But now I have to organize it all. I would like to see an imported subnet automatically be assigned to its supernet CIDR.
HI would be great if you could add the API / verb to create supernet - basically the same concept as exists for subnet
Change/edit an existing subnet and convert it into a supernet. Ex. If I have already an existing /24 subnet and I wanted to break it down into smaller /27 subnets. I will not be able to unless I delete the subnet, recreate it into a /24 supernet and hen I can create smaller /27 subnet. This is too much work, edit field…
Hi, we are trying to automate the process of creating supernets & adding subnets to supernets, but looks like that is not supported. May I know in which IPAM version this will be supported? From what I see on GitHub, it's not supported in IPAM 4.7 too.
Enabling or disabling functions such as automatic scanning have to be done a per subnet basis. When you have many subnets under a supernet it's extremely time consuming to, for example, enable/disable scanning on each subnet. I'm sure most people will have a logical structure to their IPAM, e.g. subnets under supernets…
Hello, I have tried multiple times the following process: - Download the sample file for importing groups/subnets/supernets into IPAM - Remove unnecessary columns, leaving only the following columns: Address/CIDR, Type, Display Name, Description, Mask - 8 rows - a /16 split up into 8 /19's. - Import Spreadsheet option in…
How do I run a report that not only includes subnets by the supernets ? I've created a lot of supernets to show where have free space. Lets say b.b.b.b usually a /23 or lower - But that does not show up in IPAM "All subnets" report. Somehow I would like a report to show the supernets and subnets collectively if possible.…
