Hello together I want to bring our veeam backups into solarwinds. My Idea is to have the informations on a modern dashboard. I see the total jobs, running jobs, failed jobs, jobs with warning. All these informations I should get from snmp and OID. I turned on SNMP Notification in Veeam. Installed SNMP Service and…
Hi Thwack I'm relatively new to SAM so treat me as a newbie. I'm currently using the Veeam 9.5 template from Thwack (https://thwack.solarwinds.com/product-forums/server-application-monitor-sam/f/forum/24569/veeam-backup-and-replication-management-server-v9-5-apm-template/290585#290585) In here is a "Failed Jobs" Powershell…
Veeam Backup and Replication management server v9.5 monitoring template.
We’ve been examining Scott Lowe’s competitive matrix for the virtualization management in a series of blog posts over the last week or so, and today it’s time to turn our attention toward Veeam. I had installed the template that I got from here: Veeam Backup and Replication Server , however I'm having a little issue with component status. The components: Job Status, Failed Jobs. Yo! This question has probably been asked before but nowadays you need a Masters degree in Google Search to be able to write the right search string. So here I go! Scenario: Solarwinds DPA on mysql, DB on a Vmware Linux (CentOS 7) VM, Backup software Veeam. What is the best backup policy? What happens if I do a freeze on…
With all of the different monitoring software out there and alerts from other software such as VMware, Veeam, WhatsupGold etc.... Why not create a program that you can import or copy these settings into and have it translated into a Solarwinds alert. Either to act as a model or to export then import into Solarwinds?
we are using veeam to backup and replicate our virtual servers is there any way to monitor the veeam jobs to get alerts if they complete/fail? I call myself searching for the answer and i have not found any.
