Title says it all. When using Microsoft DHCP servers in a load balanced / failover pair, Orion alerts, using the canned "High DHCP Scope Monitoring" alert will generate two alerts for each subnet for each server. So in our environment we have two DHCP servers and one subnet that is using nearly 100% of it's space. Is there…
Setup: We have a windows node that's set up to use WMI to monitor the server. For some reason the server does not have a static IP address so I put it in Orion as DHCP. To do this I have to put in the "DNS Hostname" in a special field in teh "Add Node" page, and then Orion presumably starts monitoring the node using DCHP…

The issue I'm having is that we do not want to (currently) manage the multiple DHCP servers directly through IPAM. In fact, since I'm new, I don't even…

We've reached our license limit on DHCP scope monitoring and I was wondering if deleting scopes within Orion will delete the actual DHCP scope on the server? The only reason I'm asking this is because I've had a similar problem happen with other tools that we have used. Thanks in advance!
Is it possible for the DHCP Scope name to be assigned automatically as the Display name on a DHCP Network scope ? I currently have about 50 DHCP scopes and would prefer not having to manually go through them to alter the name before I move them out of Discovered items. Thank you

I have another piece to configure which is the DHCP scope function. Now.. my question is what does monitoring these scopes really give me? All i can think of is that…
