Has anyone managed to use the mass deployment of the Discover agent used in assets?
I am trying to create the service desk discovery agent macOS app on Intune, I uploaded the latest installer dmg available to us Solarwinds_Discovery_Agent_2.1.72_2.0.8_1056_118_installer.dmg now under detection rules, it asks for an App bundle ID (CFBundleIdentifier) and App Version (CFBundleShortVersionString). We are looking for customers, who need a Linux Discovery Agent, to test a new agent set to be released soon. This new Linux agent will be first available to Ubuntu OS and more Linux flavors in the future. Please reach out to me at rinat.gil@solarwinds.com if you would like to help us test this new agent.

App…
Currently, there is no way to change a CI Type for an asset that has been discovered via the agent and the agent likes to assign most things as a computer CI. Additionally, there is no way to set a CI Type on an "Other Asset".
What is best practice for deploying 1000+ laptops using SWSD? These will be handed out, unopened to students. What I would like to do is import all the laptops into SWSD and update when handing out to the students. What I have discovered is importing by .csv and discovery by agent creates duplicate entries. Any ideas?
