I've seen a couple of topics asking about this, but no one responded. Has anyone been able to have Orion send an e-mail when an alert is acknowledged? Basically, I want Orion to send an e-mail to the ticketing system once an alert has been acknowledged. Let me know if you want more details. Thanks.
I'm trying to setup monitoring and alerting for a handful of APC smart UPS devices. Ideally, what I'd like is the node to track things like whether or not it's on battery, how much runtime is remaining, and a couple of other minor items. I'd also really like to have it trigger an alert when the UPS starts running on…
We’ve had an increasingly high number of nodes reporting an unknown state in the Orion web interface. These devices are from various Vendors and run on different platforms(Cisco, Windows Server, Linux, Juniper). We have configured these devices no different from other devices . An example would be one of our Cisco…
Hello, At present we are running NPM 9.5. I have used the Network Atlas to generate a map of one of our networks. Incidently this network has had some recent failures and I so I am able to see what the map would look like with a genuine failure situation. I have tried to search for a sollution to my issue, but have not…
I'm trying to use the built in telnet/putty utilities, but because my network restricts access to our Routers/Switches via ACL, I thought I'd be able to add my Solarwinds server to these ACL's to gain access, however it appears these utilities use my desktop IP Address to connect and not the Solarwinds server. This means…
Hello All I am having an issue releasing 9.5sp4 to users due to the fact that you cannot remove the node information from the all interface views. I currently useing an all interface view with account limitation to specify what users can see which interfaces. Unfortunatly these users should not see the managemtent ip's,…
A little while ago I installed an additional poller at one of our schools (The primary poller is at our central office). It's been working fine except that I've noticed that any nodes that it's polling do not show up under the "Monitored Network Objects" tab when creating a basic alert. Advanced alerts seem to work fine…
Orion Newbie(4 months in) 9.5 sp4 Map refreshes to display the correct device status seems to take a long time, more than the 60 seconds I set for Default Node Polling Interval. Anyone else seeing this issue, or is there some other config change I need to make?
