In the AppInsight for Active Directory application, the section Sites > Azure > Servers shows that servers are down, even though we do not have any servers in Azure. Can anyone explain how to fix this?
I have this applied to all my AD infrastructure servers, works great! But, I would like to stop this particular alert that is causing this to show up under 'Critical' and do not see how to shut this alert off? 'Account failed to logon event'
I need some ideas for reports to create for our Active Directory team. The data would be coming from AppInsight for AD. Anyone have good reports they can recommend that their organization finds useful?
Can anyone, particularly from the SAM product team, help me understand a few questions about the AppInsight for Active Directory template? * Why is the default configuration of this application template to monitor port 389 with no encryption? This should default to 636 or 3269 using SSL (TLS). * Why is this polling domain…
So, we have AppInsight for Active Directory running, and it is polling/pulling too much information. When trying to figure out if we can delete some of the component monitors that our AD team doesn't want from it, have found there are no options for this available, it is take it all or leave it. Last week I saw the Solarwinds database start growing but 10GB a day to over 30GB a day and was not sure why it was growing exponentially until we did some digging and found that there was an account that was locked…

In the Description of the SolarWinds Agent is written that the Agent "just" runs with the "Local System" Account , which ia quite sufficent. Unfortunatley , this a quite big Security breach since everyone who can write a…
