solarHello everyone, I'm looking for a way in Solarwinds SAM (5.5.0) to verify the status of servers' scheduled tasks. We have a fairly large amount of W2k8 servers that run daily tasks and I would like Solarwinds to notify when a task has failed. Is there such capability? Thanks!
I have a Windows scheduled task setup to run every 10 minutes executing a SQL query that pulls information from a custom property field. The scheduled task runs fine under my own ID (don't want to do this because of pswd expiration), I've tried using our SVC_NetIq account to run the task and it fails with the error listed…
I can no longer add new jobs to the scheduler since upgrading to 10.1. I get a user permission error that says I can't write to the Tasks directory. However if I add a new task via windows task manager it works fine. Anyone else have this issue or know how to work around it?
