Hi there, I have an issue with IPMonitor after migrating and updating it from Windows 2003 R2 (32-bits) to Windows 2012 R2 (64-bits). The guide I followed was: Migrate ipMonitor from v9 to v10 - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support Is there a known issue with the report server after performing this? I am receiving…
Hi All, We have ipmonitor 10.8.2 and it crashes now and then with the messages on the windows event log as "The ipMonitorSrv service terminated unexpectedly. " Faulting application name: ipmservice.exe, version: 10.8.204.1, time stamp: 0x55c450e5 Faulting module name: unknown, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000…
I'm trying to create an event log monitor for the Microsoft-Windows-Hyper-V-High-Availability/Admin log using the User Defined field, but it does not appear to be connecting to the log. I cannot find any info in the IPMonitor forum about this, but in the SAM forum, I did find mention that WMI cannot access nested windows…
I had submitted a ticket to support and they had said this isn't possible but I got it figured out and wanted to pass it along. We run a central digital signage in our IT dept that displays ipMonitor dashboard. On reboots I wanted it to auto start the page and login. Since the addition of the guest account and button in…
Is the ability to run reports for specific schedules, such as business hours only, even on the road map? Duplicating monitors and creating confusing maintenance schedules is not an option. Creating a quarterly report and having to add each day individually into that report is also not an option. Management wants to know…
I'm using ipMonitor 10.6, Build 1567. I'd like to make a NOC view of certain monitors from different devices, so I can see whats really important to me from around my network all in one place, at one time. I'm not seeing somewhere/someway I can do this. Can anyone help out?
Currently our availability is configured for 24/7. Is there anyway to run a report that shows uptime only during business hours during the workweek for already existing monitors? Or will I need to create duplicate monitors with availability set to those specific times and run the reports against those?
When is the last time SolarWinds released a decent product update for IPMonitor? I am not sure even worth paying maintenance renewal every year!! Quality of this product is degrading day by day. I think its time to look for other monitoring software.
All the release notes mention 10.5.1. However our download links only take us to the 10.5 zip file. We have current maintenance and I see no other download links for this update.
Hi all, Is there an offical tool to import monitors/devices into IPMonitor? I recently came into the need to add 100+ monitors at any given time. I did write my own vb application to take a .csv file and convert it into xml for IPMonitor to parse through computernames for the import feature. It does work and imports all…
