I'm using Solarwinds NCM 7.3 and I'm trying to create a job that will download configs and then set the newest config as baseline for a group of machines. Can anyone tell me if this is possible? I've setup groups in the web console, but the job creator doesn't see that group for some reason. Any insight is appreciated!
One of our APE was down for quite some time and wasn't able to communicate to Main Poller. Once the APE was back up, we received an alert for "job Scheduler v2 Results Notified Error" as 71K. I understand this was due to APE not being able to communicate to Mail poller and Database but how do we fix this or what actions…
I was wondering if there was a general way to fix our NCM emailed job results. The results come in just fine but the nodes are not in order at all. What options do I have to fix this? We have been using Solarwinds NCM for years and this just started happening a month ago... Any help is appreciated.
I have created a weekly job for Avaya Switches that download running and startup configs. There is one NCM Profile with the same credentials that all devices use and use SSH protocol to get the configs. We have Solarwinds NPM running on a partially isolated network. Here we have an NPM map which displays the overview of the entire network with green/yellow/red (see attached) We are looking for a way to display a STATIC image of only this one map on the intranet homepage for the business users to be able to see the status.…
Just noticed this with the latest installation of NPM and SAM but APEs can now have the SolarWinds Job Scheduler service installed on them. Should this be on every APE or is this only installed on select APEs? Also why is it being installed now?
