Hi all, we have an "admin" that installed a VPN virtual adapter on a windows 2000 server that we were monitoring with Orion NPM. The consequences of this is that the SNMP interface index changed and the pre-existing 2 nics got swapped according to Orion. Not only did this swap the current traffic graphs, but if I try to fix it by just renaming the interfaces in Orion, the historicals are mixed up. If I have the date/time of when this happened, is there a SQL script I can run to correct the swap, or do I have to lose the 1+ years of historical data? I'll open a ticket if it can't be solved among my fellow forum peeps. Also, I know how to lock down Cisco devices as far as persistant indexing, but is there anything similar for Windows? Thanks in advance! -Scott
