Notifications to users about pending reboots, after Windows updates are installed

Hello everyone,

this may be a stupid question, but is there a way to extend the grace period before a computer reboots to beyond 15 minutes? I have a bunch of users that are notorious for not rebooting their computers, but 15 minutes is way to short of a timespan, especially if they are in the middle of something. I would like to move this out to 4 hours if possible. Is there a way to do that with Patch Manger?

Im not sure you can tie the reboot/shutdown task to an update but either way the grace period on the task is up to 60 minutes

I don't have PM in front of me which is why I didn't previously answer, but from the task directly it might be limited to 15 minutes.

However, you can do a separate reboot/shutdown task and I believe (though working from memory) that you can set a longer period.  I'm not sure it's going to be as long as 4 hours.

I dont think it can be done....yet....Its kind of already a feature request and is on the "Product Roadmap" for future changes, but in all honesty there really isnt much development done on this so who knows if or when that would be possible
