Missing Node List in Orion NPM 8.0

Question

I lost my list of nodes in Orion NPM 8.0.  How do I get the node list to display?

I have my main Orion NPM 8.0 running on a virtual machine.  I have a clone of this machine running on a virutal machine that I am planning on upgrading to Orion NPM 9.1, to test and see how the uprade goes before upgrading the main production server.  When the clone was made of the Main primary server the node list did not show up when the Orion NPM system manager was running.  The Node list did show up in the original main server though.  I read in the Orion NPM documentation that you might have to reassign the nodes.  "If a new name is used for the new Orion NPM server, it is added to the database as a new polling engine.  All current nodes remain assigned to the old polling engine name and must be reassigned to the new polling engine.  I followed the instructions, but now I lost my node list in the original server now.  I have no nodes displaying in the original server as well as my cloned copy of the server.  How can I restore the node display?  In my Engine table I only have one row and it is the servername of the main primary server and its ip address.

I backed up the database before I tried  reassigning the nodes, so I just restored the database and that seem to bring back my node list.  There must be a way to do it without having to restore the database, but atleast they are back.

Are you connecting to the database? Check in the Database Manager utility to see if the name hasn't been changed by accident.
