Hi All,
We have 3 data center location and are loooking to install the solarwinds NPM. Should it be one installation on one Data center or 3 instances (one instlance per data center )?
Please share your thoughts
Thanks

Few things to consider would be:
1. Are they close (Example within the same country)or are they far spread out across different countries where ping times could be an issue?
2. Are they all on the same subnet? If not, do the subnets communicate with each other or are the segregated?
3. Do you have remote sites that might benefit from a de-centralized environment or is everything within distance of each other?
If subnet isn't an issue and the DC's have connection with each other than a centralized setup could be an option. If DC's are far apart than you are presented with network variables that can affect monitoring, de-centralized environment with additional pollers in remote locations might be a possible option.
It really comes down to how your infrastructure is setup and how you would like to deploy monitoring. The greatest feature of SolarWinds is it's flexibility and ability to adapt to different environments and different setup's.
I hope this provides some guidance.
