What is the COM+ component of NPM that is installed? Is this someway to integrated with Microsoft Management Console?
COM+ provides Orion the ability to create an event registry that allows components to publish the event and other components to subscribe to be notified when the event takes place.
That sounds very cool, but kind of went over my head. Can anyone give me an example of how they use it so I can get an idea of what I can use it for? Thanks.
The MMC has nothing to do with the COM+ component. It's technical infrastructure. Really, it's not something that you as an end user would actually use for anything.
