Display Transform Only - Not UnDP

Question

Okya, so I just upgraded Orion to v9 today, also installed SP2.  I set up 2 transforms to change the results of 2 pollers  - one divdes by 10, the other by 100.  Pretty basic.  The transforms work, they return the correct values and display them correctly on the web pages.  But, I can't get the original UnDP to displaying in the web pages.  Now, I know you can select whether or not to have a poller or transform displayed on the web pages - see screenshots.  Every time I make the change to not show them on the web pages, then go back, they are enabled again to show.  WTF?  Am I doing something wrong?  Sorry, frustrated - even after a few reboots.  haha

Any help is appreciated.  Also, I have seen some people display in a chart/table a column of nodes, beside it a column of poller results, another column besides that, etc.  But now I can't find how to do that.  Any ideas on that?

My bad.  I saw that as a UnDP Table resource.  The status resource shows the values of all pollers assigned to that node.  It's not controlled by the values on the 'Web Display' page and there isn't a way to limit what pollers are shown.  I'll add a feature request to our tracking system to provide a way for you to limit which pollers are shown on that resource.  I can't promise it will make the cut for the next version, but it will definitely be considered.

One possible suggestion is to add the pollers you want to see as gauges.  You'd get two gauges on the page(since you don't want to show the non-transformed values).  It's not the table, but it's one way to get the other values off the page(provided you remove the Universal Device Poller Status resource from the page).

Hi Casey, to start with, the value is set to Yes on the Web display page, all boxes unchecked - no change.

When I hit Edit on the resource it only allows me change the title/subtitle of the resource, and it gives me an option to hide the resource if the Node does not have any pollers associated with it.  Right now I am using the "Universal Device Poller Status" resource.

Just setting the value to 'No' on that page doesn't do what you'd expect.  Set it to yes and uncheck the values.

Also, if you just want to remove the column from table on the resource, click the 'Edit' button on the resource.  It will let you select which pollers you want to show.  Removing the "original" poller name from the list should do what you want.
