Atlas - Map with background image - How to replace background image

I am using network drawing as background image and have interface objects on the top of that.

Every time I do some changes on the drawing and replace background image interfaces get rearranged on the drawing, so I need to move them to right position.

It seems it has been auto rearranged.

Is any way to turn it off?

I too am having this problem. I first tried to change to used linked backgrounds and have a backgrounds folder on the Solarwinds server that Atlas would pull from. At this time this is not working either as atlas is no longer pulling any image in from the linked image. -- I though it had worked for several test maps I tried, but now in production it is not.

So the workaround I have given users is to put the image in the SolarWinds inetpub directory so you have access it via a url. The use linked background option and specify that url for the background. Each time you then want to update the image, just copy and replace over the old image in that directory.

I have this problem as well...everytime I remove one little thing from the visio I use a background image and save the same way as a .gif or .jpg and reload as background image in Atlas... all my overlaid LEDs and circuits lines are offset from the background image by some distance. I then have to select all and move everything back so it lines up with the background again.

EDIT:

I may have to try linking to the image in Inetpub as suggested and then overwrite the old image and see if everything stays lined up that way.
