Hello, My name is Leinhard.

we have several npm servers now, npm 9.5 SP4, npm v10.3.1, but only 9.5 SP4 had some problem.

is there any wise man who were see the symptom for not collecting the snmp data in orion NPM 9.5 SP4 .

NPM is running on the Windows 2008 R2 now, icmp data collection is ok

i search the similar case in the thwack link is below,

this is really make me headache and how can i solve this problem,

if install the orion npm 9.5.1 with hotfix, can it be cleared?

i'm so thanks for your reply and response,

the major symptom is below

1. in the system manager , NPM engine status window, SNMP outstanding  value is over the 2000+

2.  in the system manager , NPM engine status window SNMP statistic polling index value is 0 (not changed)

3. between netperfmon service and database sync is ok

4. next poll in interfaces table value is not changed (past date)

may windows 20008 R2 affects the NPM 9.5 SP4 ?

We have so few devices that are ping only i'm not sure if it effected our ICMP polling or not. If possible could you post a screenshot of what your seeing on the node details page? Maybe that will help drum up some ideas to help you move in the right direction.

i'll check the msmq files, did your poller not getting any data include icmp and snmp?

our case is only snmp data not gathering, icmp work ok,

i took not to the message queueing service but it seems not installed in the windows 2008 R2 now.

i doubt the netperfmon and database connection, nextpoll value in the interfaces table was fixed but

nextpoll value in the nodes table changed. last sync value is ok,

is there any wise man who were completely fix this problem...
