Issue in Updating Node's IP & Event History

Hello! M getting some issue on Orion 9 NMP

First issue is in updating IP of some nodes. Basically they are Cable modems and if I try to update the IP of that node it doesn't change it but keeps connecting with the device seems like device isn't available but on same machine device gives full ping resonse in command prompt but in System Manager it doesn't. At last I have to delete the device add it again with new IP  (It gets it within seconds), re-link it on map. I wan to know is it a know issue or what?

Seconds I can't see events record of more then a month ago? How can i increase so the database holds the record of events of more then a month. I've viewed the table in SQL server of events and it holds just 1 month's event history. How to increase it?

If this change isn't happening immediately, you should open a Support ticket and reference this post.

Go to System Manager > File > Orion Network Performance Monitor Settings, click on the database tab.  The default retention is 30 days.  You can change.
