Advanced Alert Question: How to create an Advanced Alert for nodes that belong to certain groups.

Question

Hello, I would like to create an advanced alert which will track and send an email whenever a node's status changes from up to down. I only want to include nodes that belong to certain groups as I am do not intend to monitor all the nodes in the network. I keep getting the following error: Please specify a complete trigger condition. Field not specified or invalid.

Here are the conditions I added:

Group Name is equal to Canteen

node status is equal to down

It is unbelievable to me that you can not create an alert for node down only for members of a certain group. This is very disappointing.  This seems like a very basic function that many companies would want. Server group, datacom group, desktop support etc....

there is the custom SQL query in there to check if the alerting note is a member of a group...
