Switch Port Mapper problems
Slipknot
I have read through all of the posts that I could find in here, but I still can't get the mapper to communicate with my switches.
They are HP2524's with a SNMP community of public (I know, bad security...). I put in the IP address, then in the community string I've tried just public on its own, and public@VLAN#, and always get cannot communicate errors. What else am I missing?

Perhaps check that the 2524 switches are allowing any host to connect via SNMP and not just a specific list.
Phil.
