graphs have suddenly stopped working!
FormerMember
Dear All,
2 days ago, the graphical data for all our nodes suddenly stopped. In NPM, I can see real-time data for interface statistics (percent util, CPU load, memory util. etc...) but none of that data is being plotted on our graphs?!
The fact that I still see real-time stats means that polling is working correctly right? but I can't understand why this data is not being displayed in the graphs.
We've tried stopping/starting the SQL Server and SQL Server Agent as well as rebooting the actual Windows server. still no joy.
does anyone have any ideas? thanks in advance....

Do you display your polling engine statistics on your main page?
When was the last database update & database sync?

yes
When was the last database update & database sync?
both under a minute. everything appears normal - but no graphs!

For those who are experiencing the same problem, the solution was creating free space for the database.
after reading some other posts, i decided to check the hard drive of the server and found that it was 90% full. freed up some space, but still same problem. tried to compact the database but got an error saying:
"Could not allocate new page for database 'your_db_name.'There are no more pages available in filegroup 'whatever.'Space can be created by dropping objects, adding additional files, or allowing file growth."
finally, i deleted some of the old data from the database, and the graphs returned as normal.
